David Gareja and Udabno Monastery

The colourful hills of the semi-desert and a 6th-century rock-cut monastery complex. After the Lavra monastery you can hike up to the frescoes of Udabno Monastery (about 1.5 h).

In summer bring a hat and water; modest clothing is required at the monastery.
